Forward Engineers is currently hiring for a full-time electrical designer position at our office in Rogers, AR. Primary responsibilities include lighting and power system design for commercial buildings utilizing 3D design software (Autodesk Revit). Additional duties may include project site visits, project management, lighting photometric calculations and fire alarm system rough-in layout. Working hours are typically Monday through Friday 8:30 to 5:00pm. Starting salary will be negotiated with the selected applicant based on experience but typically ranges between $60,000 to $85,000/year. Start date can be negotiated, but Forward Engineers is looking to fill this position no later than May 2024.
Applicants should have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam and be a registered Engineer-in-Training. Relevant work experience in design or construction will also be considered. Previous electrical design or installation experience is desired but not required. Applicants should be experienced in computer usage including email and Microsoft Office. CAD experience to include Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD will be preferred, but similar skills in other CAD programs will be considered. Soft skills such as customer service, attention to detail, organization, writing ability and problem solving will be a major benefit.
